GOLD MEDAL-WINNING WHISKEY FINDS A NEW GENERATION OF DISTILLERS
Mark McLaughlin and Arch Watkins, former Naval Flight Officers with a lifelong love of whiskey met Bob Stilnovich, a founder of Golden Distillery while on a trip to Seattle. Bob, a fellow veteran, was ready to retire, so a deal was struck to pass on his recipes—and more importantly, his extensive whiskey-making knowledge.
Mark and Arch set off for Washington State, where they mastered the art of distilling under Bob’s guidance. With their apprenticeship complete, they acquired Golden, and with his blessing, moved the distillery to their hometown of Baltimore.

Puerto Rico Distillery
Puerto Rico Distillery specializes in high-quality, artisanal Puerto Rican diaspora rum. Affectionately known on the island as pitorro, it’s been close to impossible to find it anywhere outside of Puerto Rico.
Pitorro is a rum distilled from sugar cane molasses that for centuries has been enjoyed by Puerto Rican families and friends. Puerto Rico Distillery aims to share the unofficial national spirit of Puerto Rico and its rich traditions. This family-owned distillery is led by father-daughter team Angel Rivera and Crystal Rivera. This Rivera Team is part of a career Navy family, and are award-winning ambassadors of their culture in the state of Maryland.

Rosie Cheeks Distillery
Rosie Cheeks is a family owned and operated distillery located on our farm in Walkersville. We take pride in using local ingredients to make some of the best flavored moonshine you will ever try. We use small batches and hand mix our products to ensure each jar has the best taste possible.
Our flavors range from Apple Pie and Peach Cobbler to Campfire (aged with American Oak) and Jalapeno (for those Bloody Mary and Margarita mix drinks). Rosie Cheeks also specializes in seasonal flavors ranging from Chocolate Cherry to Strawberry Lemonade and Pumpkin Spice. So, come out to the farm, enjoy the country with a fire and view of the ponds, and enjoy a great jar of hand made moonshine.

Our spirit flows from a spring house, built in 1909, at Maryland’s Sagamore Farm – uniquely pure and naturally filtered spring water, fed from a limestone aquifer. The same water that fuels our champion thoroughbreds, also cuts the rich spice of our rye, creating a spirit as revolutionary as America’s risk-takers and history makers. Sangfroid Distilling is a small, artisanal distillery focusing on fruit-based brandies, dutch-style gins, and Maryland rye whiskey. All our products are made in our distillery in Hyattsville, using fruit grown in our own orchard in western Maryland and grains from Maryland farmers.
